Mwenezi RDC $1,26b budget approved

MWENEZI – The Minister of Local Government, Public Works and National Housing July Moyo has approved Mwenezi Rural District Council (RDC)’s $1,2 billion budget for 2022, The Mirror has been told.

The budget increases threefold from $400 million last year. 

Mwenezi RDC Chief Executive Officer, Albert Chivanga told The Mirror that $400 million will be for devolution.

The devolution allocation will be used for the construction of five classroom blocks, sinking five boreholes and rehabilitation of 200km of road. 

“We have also budgeted for the construction of two new clinics and all other social services are going to be covered under the general budget,” said Chivanga. https://twonations.co.zw
